Deb/ Everything Sourdough @everything.sourdough is a fantastic place to go for sourdough recipes! Deb Lemos is a food developer who posts her full recipes directly on Instagram for anyone to try! I have tried many of her recipes and they are very easy and delightfully successful. Eileen Gray ~ Baking Sense – Eileen is a blogger, trained pastry chef, and cookbook writer. Every recipe from her site that I have tried has been incredibly easy and delicious!
Elaine Boddy ~ Fodbod Sourdough … it’s all about the bread – My son purchased Elaine’s cookbook, Whole Grain Sourdough at Home, for me and it was the very first time that I had a truly successful sourdough artisan bread. She has everything from starting your own sourdough to scoring and storing your bread. Since she is from UK, she works with some grains not typically found in US grocery stores.

King Arthur Baking is one of the best websites to find outstanding bread and baking recipes. I would be remiss not to include it as it is my default website when looking for a bread recipe that I know will turn out well. Just scanning the bread recipes is inspiring! Joanne ~ Ugly Duckling Bakery – Joanne is an infectious disease doctor from Washington State who shares her love for food on her blog Ugly Duckling Bakery. She writes that her food aren’t always the prettiest, but you could have fooled me! Julia Clark ~ Tastes of Lizzy T – Julia is an educator who teams up with her daughters to promote a fabulous recipe website that includes wonderful tidbits of learning. She also has a travel menu about travel information and restaurants.
Julia Frey ~ Vikalinka – Julia, based out of London, has a wide range of wholesome recipes to try out for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert! Her beautiful website, information and fabulous photography will keep you excited about cooking and baking! She has excellent information for sourdough beginners.
Vegetarian or Vegan Cuisine
Kate – Cookie and Kate — This vegetarian recipe website is one of my all-time favorites! It is a beautifully designed website that is easy to navigate and celebrates wholesome delicious food!
Meera Sodha — I began trying Meera’s recipes after browsing through her cookbook, East: 120 Vegan and Vegetarian Recipes from Bangalore to Beijing. The recipes are so fun because they encouraged me to experiment with new food combinations I never tried before. The full-page photographs are gorgeous! Later I discovered that she also has a website.
Minimalist Baker – Dana and John have developed an elegant professional blog site with many vegetarian and vegan recipes that are easy (10 ingredients or less or less than 30 minutes) to put together and make you feel like you are eating the most healthy food. They also published a cookbook, Everyday Cooking, that is an inspiration to browse through. @minimalistbaker
Vikalinka — Julia Frey has a link on her website exclusively for vegetarians. It provides a wide range of wonderful warm dishes that will delight vegetarians!
